Experiment one: Water Erosion

Title:  Water Erosion Experiment #1         

Hypothesis: I think the sand will Take over the water, and probably make a tornado or something simillar when the water is being dropped in the sand.

Materials: Fine sand, Clay, Water, ruler, Tray, bucket, Computer. 

Procedeure: 1. Put sand sand on one side
                      2. make sure its 20 cm long
                      3. Put ruler and cup with small whole on top of tray
                      4. Pour 4 cups of water slowly into the cup with small whole
                      5. observe what happens later

Observation: We observed that, Whenever A certain amount of water was poured into it.  At around 40 seconds, The sand was slowly getting damp and it was slowly making a tornado, While the water was being poured. This is standard. I thought it was very interesting how the water made a big effect on the sand, I wouldve never thought that this was even possible. I really learned alot during this experiment and now I know what happens to land when water comes.

Conclusion: The sand made a small whole whenever Water was poured into it. It also made a path whenever the water was going in.
